Gap Launches Wallet-Friendly Jeans Collection

Gap wants you to stay stylish even during these tough times: the mega-retailer launched their new denim line on Thursday night, 1960 Premium Jeans Collection. The collection features 14 different styles of jeans for men and women, each for under $60 bucks.

The launch party, held at the line's pop-up store on Robertson Blvd, featured Joel Madden on the turntables and the guest list included Ashlee Simpson, Halle Berry, Molly Sims, and Emma Roberts.

Gap creative director, Patrick Robinson, has been working on the line for the past year and half, making sure everything was top-notch down to the smallest details. He says, "for me, honestly, these are the best fitting jeans in the world. We'll go up against any brand of jean, and these fit better. We wanted jeans that, for women, make you have the best butt in the world. You want to be able to wear these on a date, you want to be able to wear them out on those nice steak dinners."

The line will be available in Gap stores and online starting August 13 and at only $60 a pop, we will definitely have to check these out!
