Mariah Carey is unfortunately finally coming out with a second fragrance.

You may remember, over a year ago, we mentioned that she was coming out with (tackily named) fragrance Luscious Pink. Well, now, she has developed another fragrance called Forever, due in stores this coming September.

She chose the (much better) name because she is, as she put it, "in a wonderful place right now, surrounded by all the things I love, and Forever captures this moment in time." Her first eau de parfum, M, lauched back in 2007.

Mimi's scents are a collaboration with Elizabeth Arden, whose VP for global fragrance marketing, Ron Rolleston, said "When we work with celebrities, we aim to put together a project which is representative of their life. Mariah's… got a lot of joy and optimism in her life right now, and we wanted to express that in a fragrance."

Forever will be available at Macy's and Dillards, as well as about 2000 other department and specialty stores with prices ranging from $42 for 1 oz eau de parfum to $250 for 0.5oz parfum.

The ad campaign, shot by Michael Thompson, and of course, starring Miz Carey, will hit the glossies in October. There will also be TV ads, as well as internet advertising. Can't wait to see that ridiculosity! We all remember the last ads she did.

The fragrance is "radiant but also evokes a warm sensuality. This fragrance has iconic white florals, which convey a powerful messages of feminine sensuality and classic glamour," says perfumer Olivier Gillotin, who worked with Mariah to create the fragrance.

If feminine sensuality and classic glamour doesn't describe Mimi, we don't know what does!

Well, "hasbeen" also comes to mind!
