Vanity Fair Channels Old Hollywood Glamor For March

Before his passing, Michael Jackson was collaborating with Ed Hardy's Christian Audigier on a clothing line. When we last reported, Jackson had put a lot of time and money into the venture and considered it a part of his imminent comeback. Of course, his death put the project on, what seemed to be, permanent hold.
Now, apparently, Audigier is considering releasing the line on behalf of Jackson posthumously. Audigier says that Jackson's aim was to create a "chic" line of apparel, and that a series of sketches of tees, jackets, socks, gloves, and accessories had been presented to MJ.
While the deal wasn't finalized at the time of Jackson's death, Audigier still hopes to exploit release the Jackson creations. He's already jacking up the prices: The Jackson Jacket was originally given the suggested retail price of $250, but after Jackson died, Audigier bumped up the price to $500.
We're curious to see what Jackson had in store, but are extremely hesititant about giving money to this cause. Since no papers had been signed before Jackson died, none of the proceeds would go to Jackson's family, but instead Audigier would recieve all profits.
That's not where we're trying to invest!
