Top model Irina Lazareanu is expanding her horizons and pursuing a career as an actress.
The model, who's done runway for Versace, Balenciaga, and Chanel, among others, and many top ad campaigns and editorial spreads, has caught the eye of director Spike Lee. This week, Irina flew to NYC for a screen test and secured the lead female role in Lee's upcoming romantic comedy.
This should be interesting. We've always thought Irina is striking, but she definitely does not have the commercial look it takes to be a movie star.
That said, she must have some pretty good acting chops, which is more important as far as a career is concerned.
Can't wait to learn more!
