Going For The Disney Set! de Castelbajac's New Teen-Geared Line

Designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac is launching a line for teens called JCDC. Composed of tees, skirts, and jackets, the collection will include the designer's signature quirks: for instance, a few tees are emblazoned with Donald Duck, and a skirt and pair of pants are composed of newspaper print fabric.

The line, which will run from about $86 for tees to $329 for jackets, will launch with a bang in London on September 17th, just before London Fashion week, while the Paris launch will take place on September 23rd.

The most interesting part of the endeavor, however, has to do with the runway: de Castelbajac wants to employ real-life hipsters rather than models in his show, and has subsequently joined forces with London's Dazed and Confused magazine and Paris's Jalouse magazine to find fresh faces of real people. If you're in London or Paris, you can apply to walk in the presentations threw the respective magazines' websites.

Very cool!
