Project Runway's Chris March recently helped design costumes for Beyonce's I…Am tour but still hasn't seen the fruits of his labor!
Beyonce and her head costume designer, Thierry Mugler (of Tancrede Prinz, LLC) still owe March (of Carelli Costumes) $43,500 for work on the tour, and now March has been put in the unsavory position of filing suit.
While Mugler was hired as "creative advisor," to the tour, March was hired to be "head of costumes," but still hasn't seen the green.
Bummer!
Pay the man!
Update: CocoPerez.com has received a statement from March's attorneys. We were informed that:
"Chris March’s lawsuit is not against Beyonce, but rather against Thierry Mugler and Tancrede Prinz, who owe Chris money for having designed and fitted Beyonce’s costumes. Beyonce paid them, but they in turn have not paid Chris.
Chris continues to be a fan and great admirer of Beyonce who looks beautiful in everything she wears, especially Chris’s costumes."
