Wallpaper mag has asked Karl Lagerfeld and Philippe Starck to create two covers and some editorial for its upcoming October issue, and of course, neither intend to go a traditional route.
Starck chose an intellectual approach, tackling science and evolution with a cover composed of three layers of sheer paper depicting evolution from amoeba to monkey. His editorial consists of interviews with scientists, physicists, artists, and cosmologists - noting that his was "a mission to make intelligence sexy."
Unkle K, on the other hand, just makes sexy sexier: his muse and boytoy, Baptiste Giabiconi, will appear on both pages of his two-page transluscent cover. On the top page, Giabiconi appears in a Dior Homme suit, but on the second Giabiconi is nude. Completely in the buff.
Hot! Hot! Hot!
Inside the mag, Lagerfeld shot Giabiconi around France for his 27-page editorial.
HAWT!
We'll take a copy, for sure!!
