One-upping Alexander McQueen and Michael Kors in an unprecedented move, Kimora Lee Simmons will live-stream her Baby Phat fashion show tonight from Radio City to a Jumbotron in Times Square around 9:00pm.
Kimora says, "It's about how do we reach our fans, how do we inspire them? Given the times we're in, people want to feel good about fashion. And fashion as an industry is so important to New York, and we want to support that."
This is the first time a Fashion Week show has been broadcast on such a major public platform.
Kimora will be showing her Spring/Summer 2010 colcetion, Moroccan Kiss, which she describes as "'70s Morocco, but a bit modern, sexy, beachy. The colors are very steamy and romantic, smoldering. I love color, the whole sultriness of it, the opulence of the people and the culture."
