It would be no exaggeration to say that sex has been oozing off the runway these past few weeks. And not your standard, missionary sex. Designers want you to flaunt what you've got, show that skin, but in totally unconventional (at least in public) ways. This is raunchy, passionate, illicit fantasy sex.

Take, for example, the "bra top" that has been seemingly ubiquitous at New York, London, and Milan fashion weeks. Shown by everyone from Michael Kors to Alexander Wang, the new midriff baring style is only a sneak peak at the tummy, normally paired with a high-waist. That said, while only a portion of the stomach is shown, it is a bra top after all - it screams sex.

Another racy theme that has been everywhere is the pantless look. Absolutely everyone has rocked this from Prada to Dolce & Gabbana and it's pretty self-explanatory how this oozes sex appeal. You're not wearing pants. It's straight forward, but it's definitely not your run-of-the-mill sexy outfit.

Now in Milan, we're seeing another way that more sex is being played up in typically unconventional ways: the Lucite heel. Rocked on the runway by Prada and Fendi, the shoe that is traditionally paired with nipple tassles and a pole is huge this spring, giving the naked-foot look and hinting at a racy unknown.

And just to pull it all together, let's not forget the hottest trend for fall: the over the knee boot. Everyone (seriously, everyone: Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Pucci, you get the idea) put out some hot thigh-high boots back in the Fall 09 shows. Paired with a micro-mini, this sexed up look plays up the leg, but in a way not traditionally done.

In sum, there is a definitely slutty chic thing goin' on these days. Thigh-high boots evoke images of dominatrixes and burlesque, clear heels have an unshakable whore stigma, the bra top is, well, made to look like you're only wearing a bra, and do we even have to go over the pantless thing again?

It's bedroom fantasy meets high-end fashion, and we kinda loves it, but it has to be executed correctly or else you might just get propositioned. Pick one and keep the rest of your outfit low on the sex-factor; unless you're Lady Gaga, lucite heels, a bra top and no pants might be a little much.

And maybe run the pantless trend by someone before you rock it to the grocery store!
