Custom Marc Jacobs Makes Our Heartbeat

Lady GaGa lived up to her stylish reputation yesterday at the NYC launch of Heartbeats, the headphones she collaborated on with Dr. Dre. Wearing Alexander Wang spring 2010 sunglasses, and an outfit that is widely believed to be custom Marc Jacobs, the fashion-forward femme looked fierce beyond all reason.

The Heartbeats headphones use the same unique technology that Dre's Beats By Dr. Dre phones employ, which purportedly allows the listener to hear exactly how music sounds in the studio. According to reviews, the sound quality is outstanding and the fit is comfortable, which is great - we love when the quality lives up to the hype!

Apparently, before GaGa arrived at the press conference, Dre remarked that the headphones are great for women because they wouldn't mess up one's hair. After hearing this, our Gagaloo set the record straight, smiling coyly as she noted, "I think they're unisex. They're certainly unisex for my fans."

Hitting stores later this month, the high-end headphones range in price from $99-$179, but seem to be worth it! Want to get in on the quality audio? You can reserve a set at LadyGaGa.com. Times a little too tough to shell out the dough? Don't fret: the Lady and Dr. are giving away one pair of headphones per day for thirty days, also through LadyGaGa.com. Check it out!
