Ungaro can blame Tim Gunn - not if but - when they realize bringing Lindsay Lohan on as "Artistic Advisor" blows up in their fashionable faces.

After Lindsay was a guest judge on this season's Project Runway Gunn had nothing but nice things about the wacktress saying:

“I was surprised and pleased by how extremely knowledgeable about fashion and articulate Lindsay Lohan was. She’s very young and can be portrayed in ways that aren’t altogether flattering, and she was a true statesperson and really weighed in on the designers and what they were doing exceptionally well. And it was really a thrill to have her.”

She was probably trying to get a recurring role on the show because her acting career isn't exactly bringing in the money.

So when Ungaro's CEO Mounir Moufarrige heard all these wonderful things coming from Tim Gunn he was sold on the idea!

Says Mourfarrige:

"His comments that she had a great sense of fashion and knew what works and doesn’t work, were pretty significant to me … This was authentic, not the paparazzi press all talking about her car accidents, or the drug things. To be complimented by someone like Tim Gunn was very impressive."

OK, hold on!

1)Tim wasn't even in the same room as her and 2) she was only there for a couple hours!

But the delusional CEO also had other reasons why Lindsay would be qualified for the position.

“Lindsay already had an Ungaro coat at the age of 13. Her own mother used to wear Ungaro. You could not sit on a settee or chair in her place. Her home was full of brands. You had to sit on the floor!”

Well, if she had an Ungaro coat at 13 then yeah, she's definitely best for the job.

Dumb dumb!
