Posh Supports Her Trekkie Husband

Even at the launch of of a sportswear collection, Victoria Beckham does not dress down!

Wearing a William Tempest LBD and Brian Atwood pumps, Posh accompanied husband David Beckham yesterday at the launch of his new collection for Adidas, Beckham by J. Bond Collection, in Los Angeles.

The sexy soccer star has teamed up with James Bond, owner of the sneaker boutique Undefeated, for the collection which is part of the Originals by Originals line. The menswear collection is said to be a modern take on classic American sportswear and employs luxe materials such as leather, cashmere, and silk.

Sadly, the ads for his new line will be vastly different from his Armani ads; Becks will appear with ex-Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher in a two-part commercial. The first part will feature a house party setting, but the second bit is based on Star Trek. In fact, Beckham will be dressed as a Star Trek character.

Uh, what? This just took a very hard left turn. Star Trek? Noel Gallagher?? We're not sure which part is more bizarre!

We're failing to see the connection, but hopefully Becks will make us believers.
