The Ralph Lauren Model Speaks! Fired For Being Too Fat!

Filippa Hamilton, better known as the heavily Photoshopped model on that much talked about Ralph Lauren ad (above), says she was fired because she weighed too much.

The 23 year old model who stands at 5' 10" and 120 pounds reveals she got the boot because "they said I was overweight and I couldn't fit in their clothes anymore."

120 pounds is their definition of fat???

Filippa was "shocked to see that super skinny girl" with her face and continues by saying "it's very sad, I think, that Ralph Lauren could do something like that."

We along with the rest of the fashion world were shocked!

But Polo Ralph Lauren is covering up the truth has released a statement on Filippa recently being canned. They say the model is beautiful and healthy, but their relationship ended "as a result of her inability to meet the obligations under her contract with us."

They go on to say:

"The image in question was mistakenly released and used in a department store in Japan and was not the approved image which ran in the U.S. We take full responsibility. This error has absolutely no connection to our relationship with Filippa Hamilton."

Suuure it doesn't.

Hamilton's lawyer has fired back by slamming Ralph Lauren saying the image is a "gross distortion of how she really looks and which we fear will be extremely damaging to her."

The model thinks the company owes American women a big apology. "I'm very proud of what I look like, and I think a role model should look healthy."
