Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen posed with Council of Fashion Designers of America executive director Steven Kolb at their CFDA induction on Wednesday.
The twins are just two of 31 designers welcomed into the elite Council this year. Their inclusion confirms their lasting presence in the world of design and shows that their two lines, Elizabeth & James and The Row, are extremely respected by prestigious American fashion designers.
Of the new members, Kolb said, "“The selection reflects the necessary change in attitude to the fast-paced nature of the industry, something President Diane Von Furstenberg is keen to emphasize. Diane’s whole approach to fashion and design is inclusiveness. She always refers to the CFDA as her extended family.”
