A while ago, we told you that Christian Siriano was collaborating on a holiday project with Starbucks, but no other details were available back then. Finally, we now have the scoop on the partnership!
The Project Runway winning designer created a Mini Starbucks Card for the coffee (power)house. Once activated, the card can be registered online and will provide savings including free select syrups and soy, free brewed coffee refills, two hours of free Wi-Fi in Starbucks stores, and a free birthday beverage! What's more, the cute card fits perfectly on your key chain, backpack, dogleash, etc. It's great for on-the-go!
Christian said, “One of the things I love about fashion is that it can change the way you feel inside and out. Put on a fabulous little something and you feel like a new lady! Giving back is the same – it changes what’s going on in your life because it changes what’s going in your heart. It’s true, people! This year, the Card design that I created with Starbucks is all about putting the spirit of fashion and giving into your life for the Holidays."
And in the spirit of giving, as part of the collaboration, Starbucks made a donation in Christian's honor to The Art of Elysium foundation, a non-proft which encourages actors, artists, and musicians to dedicate their time to children with serious medical ailments. Christian has done extensive work with the charity, including an upcoming workshop in which the designer will work with five girls to create dresses for them to wear to the charity's annual gala in January. How sweet!
The mini-cards are available November 17th in Starbucks stores and online.
