Don't Be Tardy To The Hello Kitty Party!

On November 1st the world just might explode from all the Hello Kitty celebrations that are going on for the iconic cat's 35th birthday.

If you live in El Lay, Royal T, a Japanese maid cafe/exhibition space located in Culver City, has teamed up with Sanrio to present Three Apples, an event celebrating everything Hello Kitty.

At the event you can nosh on some Hello Kitty treats, browse the Sanrio pop-up shop that offers Hello Kitty products not previously available in the United States, or enjoy a retrospective exhibition of the famous cat's merchandise from 1974 to the present, including collaborations with Anna Sui, Dior, Heatherette, Tarina Tarantino and special 35th-anniversary items from Asics and tokidoki.

And if that doesn't sound like it'll satisfy your Kitty Kravings, JapanLA has invited 80 artists, including Gary Baseman, Luke Chueh and Buff Monster, to create work inspired by Hello Kitty with sales benefiting community-based charities.

Wonder if the charities will include animal shelters???

Oh and don't forget there's an airstream trailer with Hello Kitty's mug plastered on it that's up for auction on eBay.

The sold one 5 years ago for $150,000.

Dayum! That's a whole lotta money to dump on a mouthless kitty!
