American Eagle Is Taking Over Times Square

Literally!

The retailer will soon be opening a new flagship location in Times Square that measures 25,000 square foot and 4 stories tall, making it double the size of their next largest retail store.

WTF!? How could anyone need or want to shop for that much American Eagle???

On top of that there will be a 25-story interactive LED sign which CEO Jim O'Donnell says “Now they’ll really know we’re here.”

How could anyone not notice? You're putting an effing department store in Times Square that's only selling one brand!

So what's the difference between this behemoth and the other 3 stores they have in Manhattan?

According to the CEO the flagship will carry 10 percent to 20 percent exclusive product. Adding “We’ll do significant New York products, without being corny."

Just don't call it New York Style or anything remotely close to that because you'll end up being sued like J.C. Penney.

We're just wondering how many people it's going to take to fold all the 20,000 pairs of jeans they'll be stocking at any one time. Not to mention the store will also feature a "bra conservatory" with over 7,500 bras.

Dayum! They must be planning to cover a lot of tittays!

It seems a little over ambitious considering the economic climate. Hopefully they won't be moving out as fast as they moved in!
