Frenchies Get A Serving Of Apple

Who knew that there wasn't a single Apple store in France?? We love the Apple store and can't imagine life without it, but apparently Frenchies with Macs had to go to computer mass retailers or call on the phone for if they had a problem. Customer service is a huge part of Apple's appeal and a large part of it is the services they provide in their stores - we can't believe French fries had to go without!

All that changed today, though, when Apple unveiled its first French store in the Louvre's shopping center. The store will be open for business this Saturday morning and this is just the first of many: Apple's retail senior vice president, Ron Johnson, said that France will likely have the fastest growth of the chain stores.

Strange that they chose the Louvre, though - we don't want to see the famed museum go commercial! But times are tough and it is a business, at the end of the day.

Congrats to the French and Apple on the new frontier!
