Sixties cult label Biba has been pulled from peril for the second time, this time by House of Fraser. The department store purchased the label from Lichtenstein-based investment fund Hachel International Foundation, and place to reintroduce the label in its various department stores and online by autumn/winter 2010.

House of Fraser will also introduce two diffusion lines from the label, Biba Gold, which will be limited edition ready-to-wear, and Biba Blue, which will be a line of denim.

Stephanie Chen, executive director of womenswear and accessories for House of Fraser, said "We will be making it a lot more appropriate for today and picking up an essence of Biba with flamboyant, sexy prints in silks, knits, and dark denims with soft washes."

Cool! Can't wait to see what the department store does with the new purchase!
