German police have searched a home that's believed to be connected to the extortion scheme against Cindy Crawford and her family.

The police wouldn't reveal if the apartment that was searched belonged to Edis Kayalar, the douche that threatened to release a photo of Cindy's daughter Kaia. The supermodel's offspring says the former nanny took a picture as a part of a "cops and robbers" game.

Sick.

The family have previously dealt with Kayalar back in July. The couple reportedly paid him $1000 as a reward for returning the photo he found. But 2 days later Kayalar contacted the couple again and threatened to sell a copy of the photo he still had to the tabloids for $500,000. They promptly told the FBI and he was deported shortly after since he overstayed his tourist visa on October 14.

Once deported the creeper contacted Cindy and hubby Rande Gerber via email threatening to sell the picture again if he didn't get $100,000. The 26 year old even admitted that he was committing a "f***ed up" crime but he deserved the money.

We'll tell you what you deserve. A long stint in prison. But if he does get convicted, and we hope he does, Edis only faces two years in prison. And we're guessing the family will file a restraining order.

German authorities have yet to say where Kayalar is or if he's been charged in Germany.

Let's hope they find him soon!
