We guess Tyra Banks was feeling some heat over the bi-racial photo shoot that was featured on ANTM.
Today the model turned talk show host issued an apology saying:
"I apologize because that was not my intent. It's my number one passion in my life to stretch the definition of beauty. I listen to many heartbreaking stories of women who thought they would be happier if they looked different. I want every girl to appreciate the skin she's in."
We find the apology kind of surprising because several cycles back she did a similar shoot on the show, but we're assuming since this happened around the same time as French Vogue and V Magazine's blackface photo shoots there was a little more controversy.
Do U think the apology was necessary???
