More On Daul's Death

As investigators try to piece together Daul Kim's final hours, friends of model say the pressures of the fashion world could be the reason behind the 20 year-old's apparent suicide last week and her blog may hold the clues.

Back in August Daul wrote how harsh the industry is saying: "I need to learn how to stop destroying myself, stop being hard on myself and be nice to myself".

On top of her own personal battles, the model had been constantly traveling and has been submerged in the demanding fashion world since she was a teenager.

But if you go further back on her blog, Daul had showed signs of being depressed and lonely for years revealing to her readers back in 2007: "My life as dual was so miserable and lonely. Please join my loneliness in another world. I love you all" and later adding "KIDDING. I'm fine. Just tired."

Sad.

Maybe agencies should look into offering psychological help to models, just to keep their emotions in check. Just knowing there's an un-biased person that will listen could help save other models that are currently battling their own demons.
