More things for celebs to drool over!
For the first time in the 150 year history of Paris haute couture fine jewelry companies will be joining fashion houses for a new "luxury week" for the Spring/Summer 2010 season.
On the couture side the fashion houses participating are the usual suspects: Chanel, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier,
Valentino and Giorgio Armani Prive. And bringing the bling will be: Boucheron, Cartier, Chanel Joaillerie, Chaumet, Christian Dior Joaillerie, Mellerio dits Meller and Van Cleef & Arpels.
Fancy!
Paris' haute couture week will begin on January 24th and goes until the 28th, which is the day that the fine jewelry/haute couture creations will be debut. However, rather than parading down the runway, the jewels will be shown by appointment only.
