Seems like Heidi's rubbed off on him!

Michael Kors has just announced that he is opening a new store in Munich come February. The 2,400-square-foot boutique will be Kors's first in Germany, and will focus on the accessories from the each of the designer's lines, with merchandise including eyewear, handbags, watches, and fragrance, as well as the apparel from the Michael Michael Kors line.

Of the endeavor, Kors said, "Germany has [long] been a country full of chic people who have a very interesting take on fashion. I am so happy to finally have my own store, to show a range of my accessories and apparel. Munich is the perfect first location in Germany for what I hope to be many stores to come." Ultimately, he plans to open boutiques in Berlin, Dusseldorf, and Hamburg as well.

John Idol, CEO of Michael Kors Inc, said "With Munich, we are embarking on launching an extensive retail network in the German market. We intend on opening 25 retail store in Europe in the next three years."

Seems like the Project Runway judge is doing quite well! Most designers are just trying to stay afloat, not buying new yachts.

Congrats!
