Looks like the Weinstein's decision to move Project Runway from Bravo to Lifetime didn't pull the same ratings.
The finale, which aired last Thursday brought in 4.2 million viewers, while last year's Bravo finale drew 4.8 million viewers. Overall viewing throughout the season was also down 400,000.
We can't say that we're surprised by these figures. The entire season was very inconsistent.
Main judges Nina Garcia and Michael Kors were hardly ever together, the contestants talent wasn't as strong as the 5 seasons before it and as much as we love El Lay, New York definitely owns us in fashion.
Hopefully the next season, which is slated to air in January, learns from it's mistakes and finds its footing.
