In spite of reports that Lindsay Lohan's post at Emmanuel Ungaro was on shakey grounds, crazy man CEO Mounir Moufarrige has spoken out to make clear that Lindsay is going nowhere. "Yes, [she's staying on], she has a job to do," he told reporters recently.
He goes on to say that, "The criticism was harsh. I am sure we can do better in the collection to be honest, but I think it was harsh, but it did sell well."
It did??
According to Moufarrige, Harvey Nichols, Harrods and Bloomingdales were among the retailers who took the pasty bait. We're surprised it sold at all!
And what about Emmanuel Ungaro's comments that he was "furious," and that the collection was a "disaster"? Moufarrige said, "Mr. Ungaro has his views, eh can keep them. I have no comment."
Yeesh!
We still think they should give Lindz the boot. But we're also kind of (evilly) gleeful to know that there's another klassy collection coming our way!!
