Sure, American gals like their manis as much as most, but no one loves a good polish job as much as the Japanese.
Apparently, the nail industry in Japan has grown to nearly 200 million yen, with acrylics ruling the high-fashion scene. So, it seems only natural that Japan is host to the world's only nail pageant, the Nail Queen Awards Ceremony.
The finger-forward event takes place today during the Tokyo Nail Expo 2009 at Tokyo Big Sight, the international exhibition center. Each year the event attracts approximately 50,000 visitors!
