Jimmy Choo co-founder and CEO Tamara Mellon has won a long and drawn out court battle against her 70-year-old mother, Ann Yeardye, after Yeardye conceded the case last week.

The trouble began back in 2004 after an investment group purchased the designer shoe label. Mellon remained in control of the label, but an accounting mistake funneled some shares into a trust controlled by Yeardye, who then refused to repay the funds she mistakenly acquired.

The mother-daughter relationship has apparently always been strained, and earlier this year Mellon told Elle, "We never got along. She wanted to be me, I think, which seems terribly sad."

An agreement was reached on Thursday.

Sad that they have such a bad relationship!
