Well, this is creepy!
Designer Nadine Jarvis has created a new set of pencils made from the carbon of a cremated human body.
Apparently, 240 pencils can be made from an average full body's worth of ash. Each pencil is stamped with the name of the person whose ash forms the pencil and the pencils are to be sharpened back into the box with the built in pencil sharpener. That way, the shavings stay in the box, and the box becomes an urn of sorts. Only one pencil can be removed at a time, with a window showing how many pencils remain as a timeline.
This is a little to Angelina circa Billy Bob for us, but maybe some of you think it's a nice idea?
