Danner Footwear Sues For Copyright Infringement

And for once Steve Madden isn't involved!

The Danner Footwear (left) claims rag & bone (right) designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville created combats boots, which Danner has been making since 1932, that are too similar to their style.

On top of that, rag & bone even used the company's name for a style called "Danner Combat Boots by rag & bone". The style was sold at both Barneys and Saks and Danner has listed the two department stores as co-defendants in the case.

Danner is seeking an injunction, recovery of lost profits, legal fees and some other unspecified damage.
