Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier does not strike us as the preppy, all-American type, but when asked who his personal style icon is, his immediate response was, "Without doubt, Ralph Lauren - he has the most amazing style, which will never go out of fashion."
Uh, say what?
Ralph Lauren is a far cry from skin-tight muscle shirts adorned with rhinestone-breathing dragons.
And when asked what his best outfit was, he said, "I would have to say one of my suits. Could even be a Ralph Lauren. Every man must own a great-fitting suit."
Don't get us wrong, we totally agree. We just don't think he, um, practices what he preaches. His clothes tend to be a lot more ridiculous than refined.
