If at first you don't succeed, try again!
This must be Barbara Kavovit's motto, given she has just started a new business after declaring bankruptcy in April 2008. Her business, Barbara K Enterprises sold tools, work clothes, and repair kits marketed toward women and maintained the philosophy that handy work isn't just a man's job.
Unfortuantely, the company went toe up, but now she's teamed up with former Penthouse International president, David J. Myerson, to launch Barbara's Way.
The new company bears a striking resemblance to her original business, but will focus on Isotoner gloves and mitts designed for household chores. Though an exact launch date is not yet set, the aim is for sometime around Mother's Day, with the gloves selling at Home Depot, Amazon, and Macy's.
Congrats and good luck on the new endeavor!
