Rock & Republic Folds Cosmetics Line

Aw this is sad.

Back in Fall 2008, Rock & Republic launched a line of luxe cosmetics, but now the line is folding.

According to sources, consumers were not receptive to the line's high price points in a time of economic strife.

That just sounds like terrible timing. Given the fall '08 launch date, we bet they'd been planning the line long before the economic collapse, so they couldn't have anticipated the need for more reasonable pricing.

Bummer.
