Black Clothes Can Make You Look Old!?

Uh oh, Morticia Addams Ashlee Simpson may be needing to go on a serious shopping spree after she hears this!

According to color experts wearing black close to the face can make you look older by emphasizing dark lines under the chin, shadows around the eyes and wrinkles on the face.

Yikes!

But don't worry, for the 4 out of 5 people who don't have the right skint one to wear black, you may not have to choose between looking skinny or old because experts say there are simple fixes to avoid looking haggard.

Jules Standish advises the ladies to go for a splash of color around the neck like a scarf, chunky jewelry or even a low neckline.

And just in case you want to see if you're part of the 20% that can wear black well, here's a way to check.

Jules says "Hold the color up against your face, stand in front of the mirror and look for dark lines under the chin, shadows around the eyes or lines on the face that are highlighted. If there are no dark areas or shadows, you can probably wear black close to your face and look great - otherwise, change your ways."

We have a feeling women will be wearing black, regardless if it's "their color" or not. It's too universal not to!
