This is crazy!

While walking to a New York City subway station, graduate student Cynthia Magnus noticed bags of clothing outside of Walmart on 35th Street and H&M on 34th.

Sounds like a dumpster divers paradise right?

Nope!

The retailers go to great lengths to make sure no one can enjoy what would seem to be a fantastic find by cutting up their own garments!

According to Cynthia the 20 bags of clothes at H&M contained:

"Gloves with the fingers cut off. Warm socks. Cute patent leather Mary Jane school shoes, maybe for fourth graders, with the instep cut up with a scissor. Men’s jackets, slashed across the body and the arms. The puffy fiber fill was coming out in big white cotton balls.”

The jackets tossed with price tags attached that cost between $59 and $129.

Wouldn't it be easier to donate the perfectly unused and unworn clothes to a homeless shelter where people could get use of them???

Walmart spokeswoman, Melissa Hill, attempted to cover their behinds by saying the company normally donates all its unworn goods to charities. But as far as the 35th Street location, they would have to investigate why the items found were discarded.

H&M has yet to respond after being contacted almost a dozen times in one day!

Shady!

Guess neither of them believe in the season of giving.
