Versace Closes Press Offices

It seems as though the downsizing will never end.

Versace just closed its American press office. Instead, the brand has hired PR Consulting to handle all U.S. public relations. PR Consulting represents other big names like Balenciaga, Dries Van Noten, Jil Sander, Proenza Schouler, and Narciso Rodriguez.

Not bad company to keep, but sad for Versace's press staff.

The label will, however, continute to handle its own marketing and events in-house.

Hope not too many were kicked to the curb!
