Jessica Simpson is expanding her already extensive fashion brand once again. This time she's decided to go into denim.

Because Simpleton knows EVERYTHING when it comes to jeans, right?

The defunct songstress in joining forces with Jones Apparel Group to to develop, design, produce and distribute a full jeanswear collection under the Jessica Simpson name.

The collection will include every possible kind of jean imaginable ranging from boot-cut, flare, skinny, straight, legging and jegging styles, all available in different premium denim fabrics and washes.

According to Jack Gross, CEO of the jeans division of Jones Apparel Group, Jess was very involved in the process. He reveals: “She has a very strong point of view and would be in here working long hours on this, sometimes up to 12 hours or so. I have to say, I didn’t really expect to see that."

It's not like she had anything else to do.

Simpson explains her thought process behind the development of the jeans saying:

“Because I live in denim, the fit was the most important. A girl’s booty needs to look good. I was inspired to create a great denim line that complements the entire Jessica Simpson lifestyle brand — a jean that becomes a girl’s best friend, that everyday go-to pair.”

Seeing as her fashion "empire" brings in about $500 million before the denim, we have a feeling Jessica won't have a problem selling her denim line especially since it's going to be featured in 1,000 stores including Macy’s, Bon-Ton, Belk and Dillard’s.

Will U be buying a pair of Jessica's jeans???
