Animal rights groups have been having quite the busy month.

First PETA verbally attacked Kelis, then they double teamed Kanye West and Amber Rose, and another group is going after this guy!

Men's figure skater and 2010 Olympian Johnny Weir along with his costume designer Stephanie Handler are under fire from Friends of Animals after he wore a costume accented with fox fur during a recent competition.

But now Weir is fighting back and stirring up more controversy with his latest comments. Johnny said:

"I totally get the dirtiness of the fur industry and how terrible it is to animals, but it's not something that's the No. 1 priority in my life. There are humans dying every day. There are thousands if not millions of homeless people in New York City. Look at what just happened in Haiti. I tend to focus my energy, if there is a cause, on humans. While that may be callous and bad of me, it's my choice."

Great, now he's just adding fuel to the fire.

We have a feeling Friends of Animals will be getting some help from PETA over his latest response. Not that that would be anything new, PETA has targeted Johnny in the past over his furry choices.

What do U think of Johnny's response???
