This isn't good.

Avon Products and 22 other online retailers are currently being investigated by the New York State Attorney General for misleading online shoppers with membership programs.

According to Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, the beauty company has been tricking their online buyers with membership programs that include fees unbeknownst to the customer.

In addition to Avon, other membership programs involved include Webloyalty, Affinion/Trilegiant and Vertue.

A spokesman for Avon claims they've "ended its relationship with Affinion/Trilegiant last year and has no further, no ongoing relationships with any firm engaged in post-transaction marketing" and "are cooperating fully with the attorney general’s office in its investigation of Affinion/Trilegiant."

Don't be sketch to your customers, that's just wrong.
