New Modesty Gowns Got You Covered

How come it took until 2010 to figure this out?

North Bristol NHS Trust has introduced a new "modesty" hospital gown that will no longer leave you exposed.

Brillz!

As seen in the picture above, the new gowns (on the right) wrap around and tie on the sides where the old gowns tied in the back, often sharing way too much information with others in the hospital.

So far the 1,000 new gowns that the Trust has ordered have been getting positive reviews from staff and patients, but how could they not?

Director of the Patients Association, Katherine Murphy believes the new gowns will be better for patients self esteem as they will help patients "feel more comfortable" and "feel like they have their dignity back".

She adds: "I don't know who designed those old gowns, but they were really bad. I hope all hospitals will start using these wrap around gowns as soon as possible."

We do too!
