Looks like Burlington isn't the only one getting sued for counterfeit items.

This time around, Coach is going after Kmart.

The fashion brand is suing Kmart for selling luggage with a look and pattern too similar to Coach's trademarked "C"s.

Coach filed the lawsuit on Thursday and claims Kmart has misappropriated their design of featuring four "C"s arranged in a square pattern.

And earlier this year, Coach purchased a set of luggage from Kmart for less than $80 and stated:

"The luggage set was examined by Coach and found to be counterfeit merchandise," with a "confusingly similar" design, quality, craftsmanship that "does not meet Coach's high quality standards".

The average manufacturer's suggested retail price for an authentic Coach suitcase and satchel are approximately $500 and $350, respectively, and not $79.99."

Coach hopes the lawsuit will stop the sale of those counterfeit bags. They're also suing for punitive damages as well.

Besides, forget Kmart, you know people go to their local flea market shops to buy some Goach, GUGGI, and Folex items.
