Tommy Hilfiger Reminisces About Hiting Axl Rose

It's story time with grandpa Tommy Hilfiger, ya'll!

Last week the designer was recalling the time back in 2006 when he punched Axl Rose at Plumm. Tommy explained how it all went down at the French Institute Alliance Francaise's Fashion Talks series:

"Axl pushed me, and I said, 'That was rude.' . . . [He] had a huge ring on. He wears all this jewelry. [I'm thinking], if I get hit, it's over. No teeth, no eye. So I hit him before he hit me. It was self-protection."

But don't worry, he and Axl are friends now.
