On Monday, Jay-Z put his personalized watch up for auction at Audemars Piguet's Time to Care benefit.
And even though the money raised would be going to a good cause, it was hard for Jay to give it away. He said "I kind of don't want to part with this. So I hope it goes for a small amount so I can bid on it."
Unfortunately, that didn't happen. The fancy timepiece went for a whopping $220,000.
The lucky buyer? Vanessa Williams!
The $220,000 and other money raised went to the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS fund.
Congrats to Vanessa! And Jay, we're sure you can afford to get another watch!
