Get Ready For A Mile-Long Catwalk

Models walking a mile in stilettos? This should be interesting.

Copenhagen Fashion Week in Denmark is looking to break some records next month.

So with the help of hottie model Helena Christensen, on August 14th the world’s longest runway will be unveiled.

And to make it even more interesting, 220 models will take part in walking on the over 5,000 foot long runway and will feature more than 500 Scandinavian brands.

The event is being organized by the Copenhagen Fashion Council and four trade fairs and will take the spot in the Guinness World Records as the longest catwalk ever.

The previous record was for a runway just under 5,232 feet in Thailand last April, about 50 feet smaller than the one in Denmark.

Ok, but seriously, will they all be wearing stilettos? For a mile?

A mile in heels?!?

We're getting blisters just thinking about it.
