Seems the August issue of Vogue Italia is stirring up some controversy.
The gorgeous Kristen McMenamy graces the cover shot by Steven Meisel.
And in an art imitating life situation, they opted to focus on the oil spill crisis in the Gulf of Mexico.
The photoshoot spread features McMenamy covered in oil as well as images of injured and oil-covered animals.
But the cover has left many people wondering…. is this truly art or just a tasteless publicity stunt to gather more press?
