Warning On Wearing Contact Lenses To Get GaGaloo Eyes

Seems Lady GaGa's little monsters are putting their health at risk after trying to imitate one of her looks.

After GaGaloo released her Bad Romance video, several people opted to go for the cartoon-like large eyes by purchasing special contacts to make their eyes appear larger than normal.

As for GaGa though, her high-tech team simply used their digital magic to alter her eyes post production.

But fans are trying to do it with the help of special contacts, "Circle Lens", which many are warning and can cause some serious infections if not handled properly.

According to Dr. Assumpta Madu, from the New York's Montefiore Medical Centre, “There literally is potential for somebody to lose their vision within 24 hours from an infection.”

The contacts, which cover most of the white area in the eyes, aren’t even available for sale in the US as it hasn’t been approved by health officials.

Instead, people are buying them off foreign websites which offer them in a variety of colors, usually for less than $30.
