A war of four-letter words broke out between Cheryl Cole and Britain's Next Top Model panelist Julien Macdonald after he attacked the X Factor judge's style.

The verbal bashing went down at a party thrown by Girls Aloud member Sarah Harding.

A guest told The Mirror:

"It was really abusive. Julien just started going off on one, saying she looked like a chav with her hair and that her dress sense was 'hideous'."

At first Cheryl thought he was joking, but once she realized he meant it she yelled "F*** you. Did you hear what I said? F*** you."

Burn!

The guest went on to add:

"She wasn't about to take it lying down. Cheryl was with friends and having fun. The last thing she expected was a public ear bashing from Julien."

It's really his loss. Julien's designed stage outfits for Cheryl since her days in Girls Aloud, but we're going to assume his services are no longer needed after this little snafu.
