We knew she wouldn't take this lying down.

Paris Hilton is sicking her legal team on Hairtech International after the company filed a lawsuit against her for backing out of her contract.

As we mentioned back in August, Paris was paid $35 million back in 2007 to wear and promote the company's Dream Catcher hair extensions.

But according to Hairtech, she breached her contract by sporting competitors and getting arrested for a DUI, which apparently lost them millions of dollars.

Now, Hilton is countersuing the company, saying she was "professional and honorable" while promoting their product.

Paris also included this email from one of the company bigwigs:

"Hey Paris. I know it was a long day, but baby you 'Rocked.' Just from the takes I saw this is going to be one hellava commercial, you were genuinely amazing."

Hilton is asking for $3 million, plus punitive damages while Hairtech wants $35 million.
