Dutch directors Lernert & Sander were curious to see what 365 layers of makeup would look like on one person, so they did.
The experiment took one day to complete and model Hannelore Knuts couldn't get up because the layers were applied non-stop.
At the end of the 9 hour shoot makeup artists Ferry van der Nat and his assistant Vanessa Chan used: 7 bottles of Foundation S103; 2 bottles of Creamy Eyes E107; 3 Milky Lips L205 pens; and 2 bottles of Blush S301 for a grand total of 228.40ml (or half a pound) of makeup.
Yikes!
Brings a whole new meaning to caking it on, doesn't it?
