Peaches Geldof Caught Stealing! No Police Report Was Filed!

We’re not sure why rich celebs feel the need to steal, but Peaches Geldof is at it again!

The British socialite and model was caught shoplifting makeup this past Friday from a branch of Boots the Chemists.

The 22-year-old was spotted by undercover security placing over $100 worth of makeup into her pockets and bags before heading out of the store.

She was caught by security as she tried to leave and taken to a back room where she handed over the stolen goodies. And while most would have called the police to report the incident, Peaches was let go.

A customer who was at the store when it all went down, reveals:

“I noticed her browsing in the make-up aisle, just the normal ­cosmetics like Rimmel and L’Oreal. She spent five or 10 ­minutes there trying things out. I was really surprised to see her openly picking stuff up – foundation, ­mascara, eyeliner – and putting them in her coat pockets and in her Selfridges bag. She looked around a bit but didn’t seem ­bothered, just dropped them in like it was a ­normal thing to do."

Staff at the store are confirming the news, with one staffer commenting:

“Yes, Peaches ­Geldof was caught by an undercover detective with around £60 worth of make-up… she stole plenty. She stuffed it in her handbag and also a small yellow Selfridges bag she was carrying. She was calm when she was caught and wasn’t arrested as she handed the stash over.

We filled in a recovery note and she has been banned from the store. She wrote down her address and we rang a number to confirm it. I think it was her boyfriend, and we let her go.”

This isn’t Peaches first incident with shoplifting. Just earlier this year we told you about two situations where she was accused of taking items.

And we'll just go ahead and say it since you're probably thinking it as well, we're betting Lindsay Lohan wished she lived in London when her "necklace theft" issue went down.
